Mountain Oak Campground Description
Mountain Oak Campground is located near Jackson Lake, west of the town of Wrightwood. This is the second largest campground in the area with 17 campsites. Mountain Oak Campground has pit toilets and running water with RV access for vehicles up to 18 feet in length. The campground is filled with oak trees, offering a lot of shade. Fees are around $20 per night. Like Lake Campground, Mountain Oak is located right next to Jackson Lake. The entrance to the campground is across the street from the entrance to Jackson Lake Picnic Area.
Directions to Mountain Oak Campground from Wrightwood
Take Highway 2 westbound from Wrightwoood to the Big Pines Area. From here, take Big Pines Highway (downhill) to Jackson Lake. Just past the lake, on the right side of the road (across from the entrance to the Jackson Lake Picnic Area) is the entrance to Mt Oak Campground.
