Blue Ridge Campground Description
Blue Ridge Campground is located near the top of Mountain High's East Resort, south-west of the town of Wrightwood. This campground is more remote than Table Mountain Campground or the campgrounds around Jackson Lake, as it can only be accessed from the Blue Ridge Road. Blue Ridge Campground is right next to the 'Discovery' chair lift at the top of Mt High's East Resort. The Blue Ridge Trail ends in the campground, and the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) runs along the south side of the campground. Blue Ridge Campground does not have access for RVs and has no running water. Luckily, there are no fees other than the display of a National Forest Adventure Pass in the windshield of your vehicle. Blue Ridge Campground offers good views of the San Gabriel River Basin (East Fork) and surrounding areas, as it is located along the top of Blue Ridge.
Directions to Blue Ridge Campground from Wrightwood
Take Highway 2 westbound from the town of Wrightwood to Inspiration Point. From Inspiration Point, take Blue Ridge Road eastbound, past Mountain High's West Resort. The road passes right through the Blue Ridge Campground, near the top of Mt High's East Resort.
