Local Artist Susan Kearns Exhibits Artwork at Antelope Valley Bank
Antelope Valley Bank in Wrightwood will feature the work of local artist Susan Kearns during the month of March. Kearns is known for her colorful acrylic and watercolor paintings, and monotype prints of natural elements and landscapes, as well as public and private murals on display throughout Wrightwood.
In fact, the Apple Blossoms mural on the south exterior wall of Antelope Valley Bank was painted by Kearns in 2000. You may also see her Big Horn Mine mural panels on the north side of the Wrightwood Museum.
Kearns and her husband are hikers and enjoy camping. Many of her paintings reflect places where they have visited, some of which may only be reached on foot.
