Saturday and Sunday, July 2nd and 3rd, the Wrightwood Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 47th annual Mountaineer Days Festival in downtown Wrightwood, California. This event, full of "Old Fashioned Family Fun," will start at around 10am on both mornings and run to around 4pm.
At the Mountaineer Days Festival there will be Rides, Games, a Parade, Prizes, Raffles, Music, Food, Vendors, Bed Races, Arts and Crafts, a Petting Zoo, Demos, a Pie and Jam Contest, a Talent Show, and a Beer Garden!
The John Linn Band (a high-energy country band with southern rock) will be playing on stage. While attending the event, you can pan for gold, ride a stage coach, learn to line dance, climb a rock wall, and watch the cowboy quick draw contest. There's something for every age.
While in town, be sure to stop at some of the great locally owned businesses. Be sure to visit the WrightwoodCA.com booth for stickers, magnets, pens, and other cool stuff. We'll be located at the corner of Park and Evergreen, next to the Wrightwood / Phelan Search and Rescue Team.
