Internet Issues...

Hello friends and neighbors!
I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about Wrightwood being laid with cables for Internet connections here? I know a few folks who have accounts with Verizon and no one but them services our town, but what is the deal? Will we be getting an opportunity to have this luxury up here in the San Gabriel mountains?! So I can have my home office here and actually enjoy these beautiful mountains all day long while I have to work..,
